Atty. Mohammad Abdul Hamid A. Bantog is a lawyer with experience in judicial practice, public interest law, and human rights advocacy. He received his Bachelor of Arts in English (magna cum laude) from Mindanao State University, and earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of the Philippines College of Law in 2024, passing the Bar Examinations in the same year. Atty. Bantog then served as a Court Decongestion Officer in the Regional Trial Court of Misamis Oriental, where he assisted the court in drafting judgments, orders, and other issuances, conducted legal research for various legal and administrative issues, and facilitated the efficient disposition of cases.
Prior to his judicial work, he gained interest and experience in public interest law through the UP Office of Legal Aid and the Free Legal Assistance Group (FLAG), where he helped provide legal assistance to indigent litigants and supported fact-finding and research in matters involving human rights. Atty. Bantog brings to legal practice a strong background in legal writing, policy work, and advocacy.
